Returns & refunds
Last updated 25 September 2026
Please read this before you order. It explains when you can return an item, the condition it must be in, who pays for the return and when you'll be refunded. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Items that can't be returned unless faulty
For health and hygiene reasons, and because some goods go off, the following can't be returned once opened or unsealed, and perishable goods can't be returned at all, unless they are faulty or were damaged when they reached you:
- Baby and child items that go in or near the mouth or on the skin: soothers, dummies, teethers, bottles, teats, cups, beakers, spoons, bowls, plates, bibs, feeding and weaning items, bath items, wash cloths, nail and grooming sets, toilet seats and potties.
- Personal care and beauty: cosmetics, skin care, sun and tanning products, hair care, razors and similar items.
- Perishable goods: food, drink, pet food, pet treats and chews, bird seed and similar items that deteriorate.
- Pet items sealed for hygiene reasons, once opened.
- Items made or personalised to your order.
These items are marked on their product page before you buy.
2. Cancelling an order or changing your mind
Before we send it: email info@nextgencorner.co.uk with your order number as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of ordering. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has been sent, you can still cancel as explained below, but you'll need to send the items back at your own cost.
After we've sent it: If you're buying as a consumer, you can cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it (for an order delivered in parts, from the day you receive the last part), subject to section 1.
- Tell us first. Email info@nextgencorner.co.uk with your order number, the items you're returning and your name and address. Returns sent without contacting us first may be delayed, because we may not be able to match them to your order.
- Send the items back within 14 days of telling us, to the returns address we give you.
- You pay the cost of returning the items. We recommend a tracked service and keeping proof of postage: items are your responsibility until they reach us, and if a parcel is lost on the way back we can only refund once you can show it was sent.
- Condition. Items must be returned unused, unwashed and unassembled, complete with all parts, accessories, labels, leaflets and free gifts, in the original packaging, with seals intact where the item was sealed, and packed securely so they arrive undamaged. You may handle an item only as you would in a shop to see what it is and whether it works.
- Deductions. If an item has been used, handled more than was needed to inspect it, damaged, marked or scented, has missing parts or is returned without its original packaging, we will reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value, which can be up to the full price. We'll tell you what we've deducted and why.
- Sets, bundles and multipacks must be returned complete. Returning part of a set is treated as a return with missing parts, as above.
- Offers. Refunds are for the amount you actually paid. If you used a voucher or promotion, the discount is shared across the items it applied to; if a return means an order no longer qualifies for an offer, the refund is reduced by the value of that offer.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days of us receiving the items back (or proof you've sent them, if earlier). If you return your whole order, we also refund the standard delivery charge you paid.
Inspection. Every return is inspected when it reaches us before the refund is processed. We keep photos of returned items and their packaging on arrival.
Repeated returns. We may decline future orders from customers whose pattern of returns suggests items are being used and sent back. This doesn't affect any order already placed or your rights on it.
Business customers (buying for a business rather than as a consumer) don't have a right to cancel. Our terms apply.
3. Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything on this page.
- Damaged in transit: please tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging, so we can claim from the courier. Please keep all packaging until we've replied.
- Faulty or not as described: contact us with your order number and photos or a short video of the fault. If you tell us within 30 days of delivery you can ask for a refund; after that, we'll first offer a repair or replacement.
- Wrong item sent: tell us and we'll arrange the swap.
- For genuinely faulty, damaged or wrong items we pay the return cost: we'll send you a prepaid label or refund your reasonable postage.
- If we inspect a returned item and find it isn't faulty, or the damage was caused by misuse, accident, not following the instructions or normal wear and tear, it isn't a fault claim: we'll tell you, and either treat it as a change-of-mind return if you're still within your 14 days (section 2) or send it back to you.
4. How to return an item
- Email info@nextgencorner.co.uk with your order number, the item, the reason and, for faults or damage, photos.
- We'll reply with the returns address and any instructions.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging, put a note with your order number inside, and send it with a tracked service.
Returns address: we'll email it to you, with a returns reference and instructions, once we've agreed your return. Please don't send items back before then: parcels without a returns reference may be delayed.
Cancellation form (optional)
You don't have to use this form: an email saying you want to cancel is enough.
