This explains what personal information NextGenCorner collects, why, and your rights. Questions: info@nextgencorner.co.uk.

What we collect

• Orders: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number and what you bought.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but never your full card details.
• Messages: anything you send us about an order or return, including photos.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To take, deliver and support your order, including returns (to perform our contract with you).
• To keep accounting and tax records, which we must keep for six years (legal obligation).
• To prevent fraud and misuse of vouchers and returns (our legitimate interests).
• To send you offers by email, only if you've agreed; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), our delivery couriers (your name, address and phone number), our email service (to send your order emails and sign-in links), a parcel-tracking service (your tracking number only, to show where your parcel is), our website host, and our accountants and HMRC where required. Some of these may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records: six years after the end of the tax year of the order. Messages about returns: up to two years. Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent to marketing. Email info@nextgencorner.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use one cookie to remember what's in your basket and, only if you sign in to see your orders, one to keep you signed in for 30 days. Both are needed for the shop to work, so we don't ask for consent for them. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Some product videos are hosted on YouTube: their preview picture comes from YouTube, the video itself loads only if you press play, and YouTube's own privacy policy then applies.
